Drawing

“For me, drawing has been the most fundamental way of engaging the world. I’m convinced that it is only through drawing that I actually look at things carefully, and the act of drawing makes me conscious of what I’m looking at. If I wasn’t drawing, I sense that I would not be seeing.” - Milton Glaser

Inspiring. I need to draw more.

I have this quote written down, too, but I cannot recall the source. It seems I retrieved it from a video of him drawing Shakespeare. Do you have the source?

You’ve stumped me…I can’t remember either. I think someone else quoted it in a post or article I read. I should’ve noted the source here when I first found it.

I FOUND IT! Except, it’s missing. It’s from a Steve Heller film called Just Enough Is More, about 2 minutes in, which I found here: http://www.hellerbooks.com/docs/podcasts.html. Unfortunately, the link is not working on Heller’s website. Fortunately, though, I saved it to iTunes the first time I came upon it.
